WHAT:  A 1.5 hour workshop to show how yoga can help to improve your running performance, reduce chance of injury, and keep you running.

As well as moving through a yoga practice specifically targeting the strengths and weaknesses of runners, we will chat about:

  • Running - the good and the bad

  • To stretch or not to stretch? When and why?

  • The importance of your breath

  • Meditation and mindfulness and how it can help your running mindset

WHY:  To name just a few of its benefits, a regular yoga practice builds: 

  • healthy body awareness (alerting you to imbalances so they can be rectified) leading to improved running performance

  • strength and muscle tone

  • mobility and flexibility

  • promotes calm and focus

WHO:  RUNNERS! All levels welcome - you don’t need to be a top athlete to find out how yoga can improve your running, and your enjoyment of it.
