WHAT: A 1.5 hour workshop to show how yoga can help to improve your running performance, reduce chance of injury, and keep you running.
As well as moving through a yoga practice specifically targeting the strengths and weaknesses of runners, we will chat about:
Running - the good and the bad
To stretch or not to stretch? When and why?
The importance of your breath
Meditation and mindfulness and how it can help your running mindset
WHY: To name just a few of its benefits, a regular yoga practice builds:
healthy body awareness (alerting you to imbalances so they can be rectified) leading to improved running performance
strength and muscle tone
mobility and flexibility
promotes calm and focus
